The Verdict is In...

I had an ultrasound today. Our fifth baby is a GIRL. I was secretly hoping for a boy because my sister Ashley is having a boy, and our due dates are within a week of each other. It will be fun for my girls though. They really feel like they "won", because my boys wanted a boy and they wanted a girl. Jack was pretty upset. He said, "she's just going to grow up and be annoying like CC". He suggested Ash and I trade babies. He thinks it would be perfect, because we could get a boy with brown hair...just what he wants. Funny.

Congratulations! They will be like Courtney, Kylie and Kendall! Three girls in a row is a whole lot of girl but from the looks of my house these days a whole lotta fun.

I LOVE jack's response....so honest! :) I can just see him saying that! It's not a bad idea, really....Ash wanted a girl, you wanted the boy....maybe there really was just a little mix-up!?!?! Thanks for the call....and the game of tag! :)

Congratulations! I'm so excited for you. I keep thinking about you and Ashley shopping/travelling with eight kids now. It's going to be wild.

The real question is will she join Tyson and Carolina and look more like dad or Jack and Grace and look more like mom? Either way we all know she is going to be adorable!

I would be into doing a little trade:) Congrats, that is so exciting. I would feel a lot better if your new girl could beat my boy up one day.

Is there ANYTHING cuter than an Emig GIRL???!!! I think not. HOORAY!

Someone needs to tell Jack that there's not any way in all of creation that he's getting a brown-haired ANYTHING. Now I think I might be secretly hoping my bun is of the girl variety so we can have two more cousin best friends. About three times a week Addie mentions something about Carolina, referring to her as, "you know, my best friend. What's her name again?" Although, now that I'm thinking about the way those two ran the roost, I'm not so sure it's that good of an idea....

Jack is super funny. I don't blame him though. I'm sure CC gives him a run for his money. There's nothing cuter than three little girls!

We, of coure, are thrilled!!!!!!!!! You two have the most adorable children. I remember when I had my third little girl after Joey was born, my mom said to me on the phone in the hospital, "You know, there is nothing cuter in the world than 3 little girls," and do you know what? She was right. Except four little girls was even cuter. Congrats to you...we can't wait.

I am so happy for you. With the boys being older it will give the girls another sister to play with. Congrats!

We have the same thing going!!! Our two oldest are boys and then three girls. Although...we are definitely done, so the buck stops there!!! Your kids are so cute. One of these days I'd like to see them in person! My Mom is getting married in Bountiful August 8th and moving to Draper, so I'll be in the area more often!
